Our Focus

At FreeMediaOnline.org we work primarily with journalists in countries which have a history of suppressing press freedom. But FreeMediaOnline.org is also committed to promoting higher standards of media professionalism in democratic countries, including the U.S. Our educational programs cover media research, journalistic training, and worldwide distribution of articles, broadcast reports, and training materials.

Belief in the Goal of Censorship-Free Media

We believe the elimination of censorship and propaganda is an achievable goal through cooperation between independent journalists. Our associates have decades of experience and considerable successes in distributing uncensored information in countries without full media freedom. At FreeMediaOnline.org we share our experience with journalists and with the international Internet and broadcasting community. We also work with public and private institutions to make their information more easily accessible to independent journalists and populations in media-at-risk countries.

Assisting Dialogue with Local Media

In joint projects with journalists abroad and in the United States, we acquire, produce, exchange, and distribute articles and broadcast reports identifying and exposing disinformation, censorship, and propaganda. By reporting on prejudice, ethnic discrimination, and religious hatred, we hope to promote dialogue, greater tolerance, and a more secure future.

Local Media Placement Promoting Independent Journalism

Working with local journalists, we design programs to publish articles and place radio and television broadcasts on local stations and Internet sites in multiple languages. Our assistance and training allow media outlets and journalists worldwide to counter censorship and practice propaganda-free journalism.
